Truce Team visited the Alternate Energy Department of Agha Khan School, Kari Mori Hyderabad Sindh Pakistan, where they observed the solar and renewable energy techniques and products.
The schools in Village Muhammad Ali Sangrasi and Hyder Shah Village were visited to discuss Hygiene and environment issues. The children and teachers were encouraged to enhance reading habits.
Meetings with Community Based Organizations were conducted by Truce.
Capacity Building Training for developing the skills of CBOs was conducted by Truce, wherein 20 CBOs participated and benefited from the training.
As a result of Truce’s patient efforts to mobilize communities to educate their children; Samano Khoso, who heads the Community Based Organization in Village Lakhano Khoso; took initiative to run the local school which has not yet gotten a teacher or the furniture.
